South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has been appointed vice president of an organization representing the country's attorneys general.
Jackley says he is honored to be selected as vice president of the National Association of Attorneys General. Attorneys generals from the 50 states, Washington D.C. and five territories make up the association.
Jackley says serving in a leadership position in the association will help him identify issues directly affecting South Dakota.
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has been selected to serve as the organization's president-elect.
