Bougher Brilliant In American Association Debut

LINCOLN, NE --  A former Jackrabbit had quite the night for the Lincoln Salt Dogs.

In his first appearance since getting a no decision in SDSU's 4-3 NCAA Tournament loss to San Francisco, Stephen Bougher made his pro debut in the second game of a doubleheader with El Paso.

Bougher held the Diablos hitless for five innings and picked up the win in Lincoln's 2-1 victory.  Stephen worked five plus innings, allowing one run, one hit and striking out 8.

Lincoln and Bougher will be in Sioux Falls next Saturday for a four game set with the Canaries.
