7TH HEAVEN! Storm Win United Bowl 43-40

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  --  For the seventh time in their history, and third consecutive year, the Sioux Falls Storm are the best indoor football team in America.

In a back-and-forth United Bowl with the Nebraska Danger, Terrance Bryant's fourth touchdown pass of the game late in the final quarter put the Storm ahead, and Nebraska's game-tying field goal was missed, giving the Storm a 43-40 win the IFL United Bowl.

This is the third consecutive IFL championship for the Storm.  Sioux Falls had previously won four consecutive United Bowl titles (2005-2008) as a member of the UIFL.

The game featured eight lead changes.  After leading 24-23 at half, Sioux Falls built a ten point lead, only to see Nebraska slowly chip away and capitalize off a pair of Storm turnovers.  IFL MVP Jameel Sewell gave Nebraska a 40-36 lead with 3:15 left after throwing a 35-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Bennett.

Bryant and the Storm needed just one play to retake the lead following a bad kickoff.  Bryant hit Clinton Soloman for a 16-yard touchdown to put the Storm ahead 43-40.

Nebraska struggled on their final drive, but still had a chance to tie in the closing seconds.  Joe Houston's 42 yard field goal fell short.

Bryant was named United Bowl MVP, going 16-24 for 180 yards and four touchdowns.
