With the Fourth of July right around the corner, many people are proudly flying the American flag.
But when you're done displaying the stars and stripes, do you know how to properly fold the flag and put it away? Many people don't know the proper flag folding technique, so the local VFW post 628 is teaching kids some flag folding etiquette.
The veterans gave the kids tips, like always fold as tightly as possible, fold the long way first, then in triangles, and make sure the color red isn't showing.
Veterans say it's important to teach kids what the flag represents.
The kids were from Lutheran Social Services and ranged in age from five to 10-years-old.
