BRANDON, S.D. --
Much of the region is still buzzing about the thrilling finish at Husets Speedway during Wednesday night's World Of Outlaws race between Tim Kaeding and Tony Stewart.
The NASCAR star led for 25 laps and appeared to be on his way to victory. But a late spin out while trying to avoid a slower car cost Smoke the win, and allowed Kaeding to take first.
It was Kaeding's second win at the speedway, and Tim says his win back on June 24th helped prepare him for racing against Stewart.
"Helped us out, you know, I think a lot. We kind of knew what the track was going to do towards the end of the night and we put ourselves in contention. That's the biggest thing you need to do with the Outlaws is just be in contention at the end of the race." Kaeding said.
