Iverson Debuts For Celtics In Summer League

Bookmark and Share

ORLANDO, FL --  Just over a week ago Nate Wolters and Colton Iverson were celebrating being picked in the second round of the NBA Draft.

Now it's time to prove themselves in Summer League.

Former Jackrabbit Wolters begins summer league play with Milwaukee next Saturday in Las Vegas.  Yankton native Colton Iverson began today in Orlando.  Iverson score no points, blocked a shot and pulled down four rebounds in 16 minutes in the Celtics 95-88 loss to Orlando.

Not a flashy stat line, but the kind of numbers Colton thinks are expected of him.

"Do all the little things.   I know I'm not going to come in and score 20 points a game.  I just want to set screens, get people open, rebound, play defense and just do the little things that don't show up on a stat sheet but help the team win."  Iverson says.
