Ringneck Championships Shortened By Rain

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  --  Heavy rains and lightning in Sioux Falls forced the cancellation of Ringneck Softball Tournament Championship Games in the 18, 16, and 14-year old divisions.

Younger age groups played earlier in the evening and got their title games in.  In our highlights the Diamonds X-Plosion (South Dakota) fell in extra innings to the Omaha Quakes 4-2 in the 10-and-Under B Championship.

In the 12-and-Under A Championship the Mankato Peppers defeated Extreme South Dakota 2-1.  In the 12-and-Under B Championship the South Dakota Renegades defeated the South Dakota Flash 9-4.

Due to the cancellations, there will be co-champions in classes where a championship game was not played.  Here are the list of champions from this weekend's tournament.
