SDSU's Bougher Shuts Down Birds at Cage

Former SDSU pitcher Stephen Bougher started his 4th game for the Lincoln Saltdogs Monday night at SF Stadium and held the Canaries scoreless through 5 innings. His Saltdogs scored 4 runs right away in the top of the first and he made them stand up in a 6-2 Lincoln win. Bougher improved to 2-1 in his 4 starts and the Canaries fell to 18-32 after leaving 16 runners on base!

The 2 teams conclude the 4-game series Tuesday night at the Bird Cage. Beau Torbert's #7 will be on the outfield wall. He was inducted into the Sioux Falls Pro Baseball Hall of Fame before the game Monday night. Torbert hit .358 in his 3 seasons with Sioux Falls including an amazing .394 with 24 HR's and 100 RBI's in 2010.
