The Sioux Falls man accused of attacking and seriously injuring another man with a metal pipe made his first appearance in court today.
A judge has set a 250-thousand dollar cash bond for 32 year old Nicholas Harris Long Crow. Long Crow is charged with four counts of aggravated assault.
Police say Long Crow struck another man with a metal pipe near the corner of 12th Street and Prairie Avenue around 1:30 Thursday morning. Police found the victim unconscious and bleeding.
According to court documents, long crow and the victim were arguing about money and drugs.
Long Crow told police he struck the victim three to four times in the head then kicked him in the face.
Court documents also state that long crow told police "I was hoping I didn't kill the guy."
Police say the 25 year old victim is still in the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
