Floyd, Viking Rookies Excited To Join Camp

Bookmark and Share

MANKATO, MN --  The Vikings came to terms with their three first round draft picks on the same day.

Xavier Rhoades, Shariff Floyd and Cordarelle Patterson signed this morning and will be uniform tomorrow.  Floyd and his fellow first rounders are happy the signing process is over, and ready to don the purple and gold.

"I'm officially a part of the team now.  There's no, hey, might be a Viking or anything, hurry up and sign and all that.  I'm a Viking now officially.  I'm here to help the Vikings get better and I'm here to play hard.  So that's all I'm focused on is playing hard and doing the best that I can. Everything else will take care of itself."  Floyd says.
