A man wanted on hit-and-run and drug charges was arrested Thursday after shoplifting from a Sioux Falls department store.
Jason Oldehoff, who's 36, and Christina Vincent, who's 34, were leaving the Kohl's store on South Louise Avenue when police arrived. They say Oldehoff took off running before being arrested. Authorities say Oldehoff was carrying meth.
Authorities had been searching for Oldehoff since a weekend car accident. The crash happened Saturday morning around 1:30 at the intersection of E. 18th Street and S. Bahnson Avenue. Police said that the driver hit a pole and fled the scene.
The passengers, Christina Vincent and 38-year-old Damion Franklin, both of Sioux Falls, were arrested after police found components of a mobile meth lab in the trunk of the vehicle. Police also searched the two. They say they found meth and marijuana on Franklin and needles in Vincent's purse. Among other charges, Franklin and Vincent are charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
