MANKATO, MN --
The Minnesota Vikings showed off some of Christian Ponder's new toys during their second practice of training camp on Friday afternoon.
Former Green Bay Packer Greg Jennings and rookie Cordarrelle Patterson, wearing Randy Moss' old number 84, are just a couple of the newcomers and reasons Minnesota thinks they can make a Super Bowl run.
They all say it's the sweat and work they put in at training camp that will get them ready to meet those high expectations.
"Gotta feel natural wherever you go. There's going to be a lot of stuff thrown at you. Lot of pressure thrown at you but you gotta be a big guy and step up and say you can handle it." Patterson says.
"This has been a great experience. When I went back home I just talked to a few friends that wish they was in my shoes. So I take advantage of this opportunity, I'm here now, and just cherish every moment." Vikings Rookie DB Xavier Rhodes says.
"We're only as strong as our weakest link, but at the same time, I don't believe that you should have a weak link. And so the quicker we can bring the lowest guy on the totem pole up to par, you know, we're gonna be great." Jennings says.
