Surgery Not Slowing Mt. Vernon's Greenway

Bookmark and Share

MANKATO, MN  --  For seven seasons Mount Vernon native Chad Greenway has been the Vikings rock on defense.  He's been a mountain at linebacker, but coming into training camp, he's starting to show some cracks.

Greenway's 148 total tackles led the Vikings in 2012.  His 98 solo tackles were also tops on the team, and he added three sacks, an interception and two fumble recoveries.

Prior to beginning his 8th season Greenway needed Arthroscopic knee surgery in June.  The recovery has been quick as expected and so far, so good for Chad at training camp.
