Pierre Falls Past Bedtime At State

RAPID CITY, S.D.  --  In a game that didn't start till 10:35 PM in the Mountain Time Zone on Thursday night, and didn't end till nearly 1:30 on Friday Morning in the Central Time Zone, Rapid City Post 22 defeated Pierre 15-2 at the State A Legion Tournament in Rapid City.

The game started late due to earlier rain delays and the extra inning 15-14 Sioux Falls West win over Watertown.  Rapid City remains unbeaten and will face the only remaining undefeated team (West) in the late game on Friday night.  That game will be preceeded by an elimination game between Pierre and Mitchell at 6 PM CST.
