Bookmark and Share

Sioux Falls Police has released the results of the saturation patrol they conducted last week.

Tuesday through Friday, police had 4 extra officers looking for red light violators. Police say altogether they handed out 55 citations, 31 of which were red light violations.

They say they focused on 4 areas of town: Minnesota and Cliff Avenue, West 12th Street and East 10th Street during rush hour times.

They say a red light violation costs $119.

The saturation patrol was funded through a grant from the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety.
