SF Organization Trys To Put A Dent In World Hunger

Bookmark and Share

The Sioux Falls Rotary Club is looking to make a dent in world hunger.

A couple dozen Rotarians filled bags for the humanitarian group 'Kids Against Hunger.' The group says that every six seconds a child dies from a hunger related issue.

Rotarians filled bags and boxes of nutritional meals that will go throughout the world and even down the street.

Matt Gassen from Feeding South Dakota said, “Kids Against Hunger’s a program that's doing good work both domestically and internationally in trying to provide food to kids that are really battling.”

Food packaged by Kids Against Hunger is shipped to over 60 countries throughout the world.
