Rain Wreaks Havoc At State Amateur Baseball

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  --  Rain caused several delays at the State B Amateur Baseball Tournament in Sioux Falls before finally postponing evening games.

In our highlights Larchwood defeated Mount Vernon 13-6.  Canova jumped out to a 12-2 lead over Volga thru six innings before rains put a stop to things.

Canova and Volga will resume their game tomorrow at Augustana's Ronken Field at 1 PM.  Crofton and Lake Norden were also scheduled to play on Saturday night.  That game was postponed and will be played at Augustana following the conclusion of the Canova/Volga game.

In earlier action on Saturday, Irene defeated Miller 3-2.
