Capital One Adding 175 New Jobs In SF

Bookmark and Share

Just 18 months after moving to Sioux Falls, a major credit card company is looking to expand.

Capital One Financial Corporation is adding an additional 175 job at its location on East Benson Road,
that will bring the total number of employees to more than a thousand associates by the end of the year.

Capital One says the jobs will consist of taking inbound customer service calls from their credit card holders. With this expansion, they say the building will be near capacity.

Capital One Director David Long said, "I knew the quality of people we had in Sioux Falls was very, very high and I expected us to fill the building at some point in time, maybe not quite this quickly."

Capital One is holding a job fair to recruit the new associates to it's call center. It will be held at 2200B East Benson Road on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 4 to 7 p.m.
