GREAT EXPECTATIONS: SDSU Media Day 2013

Bookmark and Share

BROOKINGS, S.D. --  Media in and outside of Brookings believe this could be the best South Dakota State football team in program history.

Today the Jackrabbits met some of that media during their annual media day at Coughlin Alumni Stadium.

After a 9-4 season and playoff win last year, the Jacks have been picked to finish second in the Missouri Valley and were ranked seventh nationally in the coaches poll.

Coach Stigelmeier isn't sure how this group will handle the added spotlight, but it looks like the high rankings don't matter to SDSU, because, to quote Ricky Bobby, "If you aint first, your last!"
