After Tammy Kvasnicka's motion to suppress evidence was denied by a judge in Sioux Falls last week, she is back in court today. This time, she is in court for a change of plea hearing.
KDLT News will be in the courtroom and will bring you the latest developments tonight.
Kvasnicka was convicted of first degree manslaughter and sentenced to 60 years in prison for driving the wrong way on I-229 in Sioux Falls while drunk and hitting an oncoming car, killing one person in July of 2011.
Earlier this year Kvasnicka was granted a retrial by the South Dakota Supreme Court because the justices said a police officer's testimony should not have been allowed in her first trial.
