Heart Walk Preview

Heart Disease is the number one killer for men and women nationwide. Saturday morning, many will walk to try and stop the disease.
About 20 volunteers were at the Falls Park Friday setting up fro the annual Heart Walk. Registration starts at 8 a.m. with the walk starting at 9 a.m.
“We also know 80 percent of Heart Disease is preventable. By making simple lifestyle changes like getting out and going for a walk,you can prevent risk of Heart Disease,” said Media Relations Director, Chrissy Meyer.
The event is free. The American Heart Association is taking donations. They hope to raise $220 Thousand.
