High temperatures and heat indicies have caused problems in some of the non-air-conditioned SDSU residence halls.
About half of the halls on campus are not air-conditioned.
According to the SDSU website, students in those buildings have been relocated to cooler areas of campus or to local hotels while the university works to install temporary air conditioning units in the dorms.
