Despite the heat outside, construction projects across Sioux Falls are continuing.
On Wednesday, crews began paving the west leg of the Third Street and Kiwanis Avenue intersection. Because of this, the west leg of the intersections at Third and Seventh Street will be closed until September 4th. Access to businesses on the streets will still be available.
Crews were also starting work on Dakota and Main. Main Avenue and Dakota Avenue were closed immediately south of 14th Street to allow construction crews to perform asphalt pavement repairs. 14th Street was reduced to one lane of traffic in the eastbound direction between Main Avenue and Dakota Avenue.
On Thursday, the South Dakota DOT will be giving an update on the Cliff Avenue Interchange project.
