Employees and shoppers at World Market in Sioux Falls got quite the surprise Wednesday morning.
A mini van came crashing in through the store's front doors just after 10:30 a.m.
An elderly man driving a green Subaru Outback accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending the vehicle straight into the double doors at the entrance of the store.
Luckily no one was injured, however the crash did leave those inside the store a little shaken.
"I was at the main cash register checking someone out and this loud crash came. It scared me to death. I thought it was a gun shot actually!" said, World Market employee, Lynn Shumacher.
There is no word yet on the estimated cost of damage to the store or the vehicle.
