3rd Annual "Touch A Truck" Event This Weekend

Bookmark and Share

Do you remember being asked what you want to be when you grow up?

A fire fighter? Maybe a police man?

It's easy to see why kids idolize their local heroes.

This weekend, kids, and the kid that stills lives within all of us, will get the chance to rub elbows with those heroes and learn about the equipment they use everyday, at the 3rd Annual "Touch A Truck" event.

On Thursday, Jay Meyers, Dean of Faculty at Globe University, joined Phil and Laura to talk about the event happening at the Globe University-Sioux Falls campus this Saturday.

The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Food and refreshments will be sold at the event to support the local charity, Veterans Build.
