The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is still on budget and on schedule to open in the fall of 2014.
If you’ve driven by the events center you might have noticed all six 100 ton trusses are up. Since the completion, over 240 workers have been busy working 24 hours a day. Currently they are enclosing the structure, putting up wall panels, and laying concrete for the bowl. Project managers said within a few weeks, windows will start being installed.
Jason Miranowski, Mortenson Construction said, “We've actually been able to remove one of the cranes from site, so we are down to one crane. It's a primary crane that will put up the remaining structural steel. It’s been going well.”
The goal is to have the $115 million events center completely enclosed by December.
