Confidence Building At USD

Bookmark and Share

VERMILLION, S.D.  --  After getting pushed around in 2012, the South Dakota Coyotes are pushing back in 2013.

The Coyotes won their first ever Missouri Valley Football conference game yesterday, beating Missouri State 17-14 and improving to 2-3 overall (1-1 in MVFC Play).

USD's defense continues to dominate.  They got a pick six and held MSU to just seven points on 177 total yards.

The offense rallied for 11 fourth quarter points under new starting quarterback Kevin Earl.

It's a benchmark win for USD, and a sign that the program is on the rise.
