Patriots' Quintanilla Thankful For The Team's O-Line

Bookmark and Share

The team atop the South Dakota “AAA” rankings is the Lincoln Patriots and that's in large part to the big plays by Caden Quintanilla.

The senior has played a big role for the Patriots over the past few years and this year his big runs have his team in a prime position to win the first ever state “AAA” title.

While Quintanilla knows it would be easy to take all the credit for his success, he says the hard work of his offensive line has made it possible for him to find those big holes.

“We had a bunch of guys, like at least 20 guys with over 90% attendance, in the weight room, getting stronger, getting bigger, and getting faster. And, you know, it's not just the offensive line. It's the wide receivers that are making blocks down the sidelines and our fullbacks doing a great job and all of them together just allowing me to run free,” said Caden Quintanilla.
