HOMECOMING: Wolters Returns To South Dakota

Bookmark and Share

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.  --  Nearly seven months to the day of leading the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to their second consecutive Summit League Tournament championship at the Sioux Falls Arena, Nate Wolters returns to Sioux Falls as an NBA player as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks in tonight's exhibition game with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Sanford Pentagon.

This is the first basketball game to be played in the new facility, and there many historic threads.  Wolters, who owns nearly every career offensive record in SDSU history, is playing against the team he grew up watching in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

In addition, former Sioux Falls Skyforce head coach Flip Saunders, now in the front office with the Timberwolves, will also be in attendance in what, ironically, will be the new homecourt for the Skyforce.

It's sure to be an emotional night for Wolters, and he's not quite sure what to expect.
