A 66-year old Huron man has pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree rape in a plea deal with prosecutors.
Beadle County States Attorney Mike Moore says that 31 other charges were dropped against John Rose.
Moore says investigators found a 37-second video on a digital camera memory card showing Rose committing the act with a 10-year-old victim.
Judge Vince Foley revoked Rose's bond and sent him to jail to await his Dec. 10 sentencing. The charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Moore says the victim's family is happy the case didn't go to trial, which was to begin Wednesday.
