Brookings Police Chief Suspended For 2 Weeks

The Chief of Police in Brookings will be suspended for a two week period.
Brookings City Manager Jeff Weldon says that Jeff Miller's suspension will run from November 1st until November 14th. Miller is expected to return to work on Friday, November 15th.
Weldon told KDLT News that Miller was suspended for personnel reasons.
Due to employee privacy policies, the city of Brookings has not disclosed the reason for the suspension.
Assistant Chief of Police Dave Erickson was appointed as Acting Police Chief.
