One Injured In Car Vs. Deer Accident In Hamlin County

One person was injured after their vehicle hit a deer in Hamlin County Friday night.
According to the Hamlin County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened just east of Bryant at around 5:30.
They say the the vehicle was traveling on South Dakota Highway 28, just west of 441st Avenue, when the vehicle collided with the animal, causing moderate damage to the car.
The 48-year-old driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The driver was wearing a seatbelt.
This is the second car vs. deer injury accident in Hamlin County in less than two weeks.
