O'Gorman, Dakota Valley & Warner Take State Titles

The curtain came down on the high school volleyball season in South Dakota with three championship matches on Saturday night.

In their fourth match of the season, O'Gorman avenged their lone loss of the season, defeating city rival Roosevelt 3-0 at the AA State Championship in Mitchell.  Taryn Kloth led the Knights with 20 kills.

In the State A Championship in Aberdeen it was Dakota Valley taking home their first ever volleyball title, defeating Winner 3-1.  Jayde Bergmann's match high 21 kills led the way for the Panthers.

In Class B Warner had no problems defending their title, sweeping Chester 3-0.  Miranda Ristau had 16 kills to pace the Monarchs in her final career prep match.
