Title Win Over Roosevelt Extra Sweet For Knights

Bookmark and Share

MITCHELL, S.D.  --  During the regular season O'Gorman and Roosevelt were clearly the best volleyball teams in South Dakota.

When they met last night for the fourth time in the state title game, the Knights left no doubt who was the better team.

O'Gorman's only loss came against the Riders, and they avenged it with a 3-0 sweep in yesterday's Class AA State Championship in Mitchell.

Taryn Kloth led the way with 20 kills, as the Knights finished a near perfect campaign 23-1.
