Jacks Proud Of 2013 But Unsatisfied

Bookmark and Share

CHENEY, WA --  fter starting 4-4, SDSU rattled off five straight wins thanks to their power running game and opportunistic defense that forced key turnovers.

Making yesterday's season ending loss to Eastern Washington a cruel twist of fate.

Tied 1at half, the Eagles outrushed SDSU 287-88 and won the turnover battle two to one, helping them pull away and eliminate the Jacks from the FCS Playoffs 41-17.

SDSU finished 9-5, making the second round of the playoffs for the second straight year.

Though their five game winning streak to make the playoffs was remarkable, the Jacks entered the season expecting a deeper playoff run.  Though proud of their season and accomplishment, the Jacks will be left to wonder what could have been both in their final game and throughout the season.
