Rapid City officials say cleanup from an October blizzard is nearly complete.
Terry Wolterstorff, director of the city's public works department, says curbside pickup for debris wrapped up last week and the city is closing its remote drop-off sites on Monday.
Wolterstorff says cost of the cleanup is nearing $3 million.
The early October storm dumped as much as 4 feet of snow in parts of the Black Hills. The wet snow and high winds downed trees and branches throughout Rapid City.
Wolterstorff says if the debris was placed on a football field and stacked 10 feet talk, the branches would have filled up 18 fields.
