The Mitchell School District is warning residents about a individual or individuals going door to door in town selling educational materials.
According to one household in town, the salesman is representing himself, implicitly or explicitly, as having been assigned by the Mitchell School to talk to all families with children in school in Mitchell.
Additionally, he is apparently using names of specific teachers in his discussion as a way of connecting his products to the school and school employees.
Dr. Joe Graves of the Mitchell School District says it has no agreement with any companies or persons selling educational materials in Mitchell and that anyone representing themselves as such are either mistaken or deceptively attempting to use the District’s name to sell product.
