Sandford Health and WebMD Announce Partnership

Sanford Health announced a new partnership to educate children, parents and health professionals via the Internet on Wednesday. They've teamed up with WebMD to tackle children's health issues including nutrition and exercise. The website is a leading source of medical and health information for the U.S.
Sanford officials hope it will give children and those who care for them the support they need.David Link, Senior VP Sanford health says, “WebMD, they are probably the most trusted on line resource for health. As an organization they have 81 million unique users a month, so we really feel fortunate to be working with them”.
Link also says the connection between childhood obesity and Type 2 diabetes is part of the motivation behind the partnership.
