Big Research Announcement Soon from Sanford

KDLT News has learned that Sanford Health will soon make a big announcement concerning its first clinical trials for type1 diabetes. Sanford research officials say this is the first step in finding a cure for the disease.
Type 1 diabetes strikes children and adults suddenly and makes them dependent on injected insulin for life.
A 400 million dollar donation by T. Denny Sanford has allowed the health group to establish a world-class research team to find a cure. More information on the clinical trials is expected in the next few days.
