Augustana's men’s head basketball coach Tom Billeter has announced his team’s 2010-11 schedule. The upcoming season begins with two exhibition games, including one against the University of Arizona, followed by four non-conference games. The season finishes with a series of 22 conference games.

On Nov. 1, the Vikings welcome Gustavus Adolphus to the Elmen Center at 7 p.m. Augustana then travels to Tuscon, Ariz. for a final exhibition game against The University of Arizona on Nov. 7; the time for that contest is to be determined.

Following exhibition action, the Vikings will play four non-conference games against Jamestown College (Nov. 13 at home), University of Sioux Falls (Nov. 17 at the Sioux Falls Arena), Valley City State (Nov. 24 at home) and Dakota State (Nov. 26 at home).

Augustana opens the conference season on Dec. 3 against Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, Minn. The Vikings will then travel to Mankato, Minn. on Dec. 4 to take on Minnesota State.

After two home games against U-Mary (Dec. 10) and Northern State (Dec. 11) Augustana will be on the road to square off against Minnesota, Crookston (Dec. 17) and Minnesota State Moorhead (Dec. 18).

The Vikings kick off the new year at home against St. Cloud State and Concordia-St. Paul on Jan. 1 and 2 before hitting the road to take on Bemidji State (Jan. 7), Minnesota Duluth (Jan. 8), and Wayne State (Jan. 15).

Augustana returns home Jan. 21 and 22 to compete against Upper Iowa and Winona State.

The Vikings wrap up January on the road playing Concordia-St. Paul (Jan. 28) and St. Cloud State (Jan. 29).

Two of Augustana’s final seven games in Feburary are away. The regular season will conclude at home against Minnesota State Moorhead and Minnesota, Crookston on Feb. 25-26.

The top eight teams in the NSIC will qualify for the conference tournament scheduled to begin March 2.
