Brockmueller helped the Cougar cross country team get off to a great start to the season with a second place individual finish at the Nike Heartland Pre-Regional Meet held at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls. Brockmueller traversed the five mile course in a time of 26 minutes, 35 seconds as USF finished third as a team, just three points behind race-winner Iowa Western College.
