Allen Warned by NFL!

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen has been told by the NFL he can't perform his signature sack celebration, because touching the turf with his knee is considered
Allen confirmed after practice Monday that he found out prior to Minnesota's last game his calf-roping pantomime is against league rules because he goes to the ground while doing it. The Vikings were contacted by the NFL before hosting Detroit in Week 3.
Allen said he didn't understand why he just learned about the ban since he's been celebrating each sack the same way for years. He joked that he should put a piece of cardboard underneath his
knee to comply with the rule. Allen has one sack in three games this season.
