Ryan Honored Again by GPAC!

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Oct. 11, 2010)   For the second straight week University of Sioux Falls senior receiver Jon Ryan (Watertown, S.D.) has been named Great Plains Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.  In a 66-21 win over Briar Cliff University last Saturday, Ryan recorded five receptions for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Ryan’s three touchdowns of 61, 32 and 27 yards push his season total to 12 touchdown receptions, second in the NAIA. Ryan has made 34 catches for 663 yards, an average of 19.5 yards per catch, and is fifth in the country with 110.5 reception yards per game. 

Ryan has had a touchdown reception in every game this season and has eclipsed the 100 yard receiving mark in four straight games.  The top-ranked Cougars host No. 4 Morningside College (6-0, 6-0) this Saturday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m. at Bob Young Field.
