National Wear Red Day: The Morning Show Interview

February is National Heart Month, and today, February 4th is National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for women and heart disease. Heart Disease is the number one killer of women. Every year 450,000 women die from heart disease, that equates to about one women every minute.
While 1 in 30 women die from breast cancer, 1 in 3 women die from cardiovascular disease.
This Morning we spoke with Mary Michaels from the American Heart Associate about this silent killer and what can be done to raise awareness to the women in our lives to get checked regularly. We also talked about the National Wear Red Day campaign and events taking place in the Sioux Falls area this month.
