National 2-1-1 Day: The Morning Show Interview

Today, February, 11 is national 2-1-1 day across the country. Here in South Dakota the HELPLine 2-1-1 is celebrating and also being recognized for a decade of service across the State.
HELPLine 2-1-1 founder, Janet Kittams-Lalley joined us this morning to tell us of all the ways the Help line can offer assistance to those in need.
The HELPLine in South Dakota has answered over 325,000 calls in its 10 years in the state.
The HELPLine offers assistance for a variety of services including:child care, basic needs, health care, finding volunteer opportunities, crisis support, counseling, donations, information of government services and more.
If you need assistance or would like to volunteer for the HELPLine simply dial 2-1-1 toll free 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
