Death by Chocolate-In a Yummy Way:The Morning Show Interview

Bookmark and Share

This morning was a truly "sweet" experience on the set of KDLT News Today. Jessica DeNeui, of the Girl Scouts-Dakota Horizons and Maria Pontiero of Nucci's Italian Bistro and Gelato visited with us about the 2011 Death By Chocolate Charity Event taking place this weekend.
The event will have several local chef's creating decadent masterpieces with molten chocolate and sugary goodies. Everyone who attends will be the judge of which local chef wins title of best in show.
Mario Pontiero brought in a preview of what she has been cooking up. Maria let us try a chocolate gelato, and a white chocolate gelato, both of which were absolutely to die for! She is also working on some beautiful, yet also delicious cakes.
All of the proceeds from the event stay in the Sioux Falls area and benefit the Girl Scouts.
The Girl Scouts organization focuses on building feature leaders, girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.

If you would like to give your taste buds a workout and have a great time tasting wonderful goodies at the event here's the info:
