February 26, 2011 11:08 PM
On Saturday night, Webster senior Logan Storley made high school wrestling history by winning his sixth state championship.
Storley won the 171 lb. Class 'B' championship by defeating Dallas Jungwirth of Redfield/Doland 18-3 by technical fall.
With the win, Storley became just the second wrestling in South Dakota history to win six titles, matching the feat which was first accomplished by Kirk Wallman of Freeman.
Storley's win had even more significance though. With the victory, Storley also clinched the team title for Webster, which held off Hot Springs by just 2.5 points. The last time Webster won a team title was 2006. Back then, Storley was just a 7th grader, and he had won the first of his individual championships.
