If you're looking for a "flipping" good time feasting upon flapjacks, while also helping out local charities in the process, an event starting on Tuesday is just for you.
Monday on the Morning Show Todd Smith, Pit Boss (Seated on Immediate Right) and Pat Gustaf, Lions Club Member (Far Right) joined us to talk about the Downtown Lions Club Pancake Days.
This is the 55th year the Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club has held the event. In the two days the event takes place the Lions Club will serve over 13,000 people and make approximately 60,000 pancakes and 38,000 sausages.
The proceeds from the event go to the vision and hearing impaired and other charities in the Sioux Falls Community. The public is encouraged to bring old eyeglasses, hearing aids, and hearing aid batteries batteries to the event to be recycled and used by those who are in great need of them.
Advanced tickets are $5 and are being sold at Lewis Drug, HyVee, Ace Hardware and Gustaf's Greenery.
