23rd Avera Race Against Breast Cancer: The Morning Show Interview

Bookmark and Share

It's one of the biggest risks to women in the United States, and if you'd like to help the fight against breast cancer while getting a little work-out done in the process, an event coming up this weekend is just for you.

Missy Keiper, of the Avera McKennan Foundation joined us on the morning show Wednesday, to tell us more about the Avera's Race Against Breast Cancer taking place this weekend.

All funds raised for the race benefit cancer patients and research in the Sioux Falls and Surrounding Areas.

The race begins at 8:00 AM on Saturday. Globe University students and staff will also be present running a massage-a-thon. They will be taking good will donations for a massage starting at 9:30 AM. For a good will donation, runners or those in attendance can receive a 15 minutes massage.

Over 5,700 people have registered for the race already, but they are always looking for more.

For all the details and tips for parking from Missy just check out the interview.
