Madison Homebuilder Plans $2.6M Expansion

A company that builds houses indoors and hauls them to the buyer's lot will nearly double its manufacturing space in Madison.
   
Custom Touch Homes said Tuesday it will build a 48,000 square foot addition, increasing plant size to 100,500 square feet.
   
The company said the $2.6 million expansion will allow it to double its capacity and increase efficiency.
   
Custom Touch Homes has 56 employees and plans to add up to 50 jobs. It's been operating in Madison since 1996.
